Well, that's all changing thanks to a new deal between Ellen and Netflix that will bring the holder of the second-most retweeted tweet of all time to the streaming service.

The news was announced on Twitter, the free PR machine to the stars.

Neither party has said when the special will air, placing Ellen alongside other comedians like Louis CK, Dave Chapelle, and Amy Schumer to debut specials on Netflix, or released financial details of the deal.

Ellen's last special was Ellen DeGeneres: Here and Nowwhich aired in 2003 on HBO.

Nothing has changed but also everything has changed. Welcome back to the stand-up stage, Ellen.
