For the past 21 years,Tramas Ardientes S01 E09 The Viewhas given us some of the best live drama on television. (Thank you, Barbara Walters.)
This week brings us drama between Viewco-host Whoopi Goldberg and Fox News's Justice with Judge Jeaninehost Jeanine Pirro.

It didn't take long for Pirro to get into a confrontation with Goldberg about racism, xenophobia, and the Trump presidency.
Things got nasty and, if I may be shallow, a little bit fun.
Here's a sample of their relatively mild-mannered on-screen drama: Whoopi said that she's "tired" of people who call Mexicans "liars and rapists," and in response, Pirro launched into a tirade about "when people who shouldn't be here end up murdering the children of American citizens." (For what it's worth, immigrants commit crime at lower rates than native-born Americans do.) The back-and-forth prompted Goldberg to end the segment.
According to Page Six, things got more contentious backstage when Goldberg allegedly said to Pirro, "Fuck you, get the fuck out!"
From Page Six:
"Backstage when the two crossed paths, a source told us, 'Jeanine tried telling her she's fought for victims her whole life.' That’s when 'Whoopi got in her face and said that they've known each other a long time, but still, 'F–k you, get the f–k out of this building.' Jeanine looked stunned.'"
Pirro later complained that Goldberg treated her "like a dog."
"I've been a prosecutor, judge, DA for 30 years. I've tried murder cases. I can go toe-to-toe with anybody, but that was abuse, and it was sad," Pirro told her friends onFox and Friends today. "It was a sad moment."

Frankly, it was a great moment for those of us in the Whoopi Goldberg fandom. It's been a long time since we've seen that magic, and we're glad to have it back.
